This was one of the many film experiments we did in my Advanced Cinema Direction course. I had to choose the script of a film I'd never seen and interpret it as a director would. I chose "Broadcast News", and recruited some great talent and a small skeleton crew to record this scene, between Jane and Aaron. Jane is dating Aaron's competitor at the office, and is about to find out about Aaron's feelings for her. I worked for several weeks on this scene with my talent and it was extremely rewarding. While this scene isn't perfect, I love the emotion that I got out of my actors.
